Is being over 40 a blessing

Ok. you're out of work. Bummer. You remember when it was OK to have a drink after work. Smoke in a smoking area. Feel like your job was your life long career. But now its a new world. Well may not that new. Your old job is gone. Maybe even your whole industry-like auto,travel agent,consumer electronics store or dozens of other industrys. Kind gone the way of the dial phone (I know you have used one). The CD player. If you are using one hide it and get an IPODor IPHONE immediately. Its time to retool, retrain and restore you confidence. There is no shame in learning. Well except if you are one of the thousands of unappreciated and under paid teachers who work for the love of a very important role in our society.So our aim at over40interns is simple. Help you find your way out of the nightmare. Where yours is Alice in wonderland or nightmare before Xmas! We will try to educate you , point in directions and hook you up (not the under 30 meaning) with potential internships for the older crowd. Yes you may be competing with a 20 or 30 something. But you have a lot-knowledge of what it is to work. So put your beany on, turn on you mac books(OK notebooks), carry your Iphone/Blackberry and learn from those who know. Your future can be brighter. It's up to you.
